Dear Valued BIA Member,
The BIA has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 virus, its potential impact on members of the association and central Ohio. This is a rapidly developing issue impacting personal and professional activities worldwide.
Because of the current circumstances that we face, the BIA has canceled most in-person committee and council meetings and related activities through March 1st, and our staff is currently operating in a remote office capacity during this period. While activities may be temporarily canceled, please continue to work with and reach out to BIA staff as you would during standard business operations. Let me reiterate that the association is fully functioning and operational and our staff is working and accessible.
Additionally, knowing the potential impact of closures and changes to standard procedures by local governments, the BIA is reaching out to municipalities to determine how activities related to inspections, permitting, plan submission, and zoning hearings may be impacted in the near term. Please bookmark this page for regular updates from our local government partners.
Our association is here to serve our members, so do not hesitate to reach out if the BIA can be of service to you or your company in the coming days and weeks.
Significant development is coming Pataskala’s way and officials are positioning the far-west Licking County city to achieve the right balance of growth while not sacrificing the rural feel so valued by present residents.
The ordinance was introduced at the beginning of February. If approved, it would permit triplex homes, one building with three separate family units, within the community reinvestment area approved by council in June 2019.
