Trail’s End Parade Will Showcase 12 Stunning Homes in July

With twelve of the area’s top builders, one of central Ohio’s most successful developers and a breathtaking site, the 2014 BIA Parade of Homes is already shaping up to be one of our most anticipated.

This year the Parade will take place July 19 - August 3, 2014 at Trail’s End, at the intersection of Olentangy River Rd. and Home Rd. in Liberty Township, Delaware County.

The Parade will be held starting in July, instead of June, due to several contributing factors. The key reason was our unusually severe winter weather, which made it extremely difficult for the Parade builders to stay on schedule. Additionally, building this year’s larger homes required more time. Because of complications like these, the Parade was moved back for the benefit of all who have been working under these challenging conditions.

Building at Trail’s End

Trail’s End, a 148-home development located in the Olentangy School District, sits on 216 scenic, wooded acres. The site is perched on a plateau overlooking the portion of the Olentangy River Valley that's designated as a State Scenic River.

The builders signed on to construct homes at Trail’s End are:

All twelve builders have built homes in previous Parades. They will be creating homes in a variety of styles, at price points ranging from $600,000 to a million-plus.
Edwards Land Company, a seasoned Parade host, is the Parade’s developer. The company has hosted five other Parades, including our 2009 Parade at Tartan Ridge and 2002 Parade at Ballantrae.

Home with a heart

3 Pillar Homes has generously volunteered to be the 2014 BIA Foundation Home builder. The company will continue our tradition of giving back to charities designated by the BIA Foundation.

”This is our first time as the Foundation Home builder and we’re excited for the opportunity,” says Zenios Michael Zenios, president of 3 Pillar Homes. “It’s time for us to give back to the industry and a charity we believe in.”

The 3 Pillar Homes’ Foundation Home will be an American farmhouse-style home that features a multi-generational design and a first floor guest suite.

New this year, the BIA is partnering with Habitat for Humanity, and Habitat will be staffing the Foundation Home with volunteers.

Says Zenios: “The great part about the selection of Habitat for Humanity is that they are 100 percent aligned with what we do every day.”
