Oktoberfest Photos and Recap!

The annual BIA Oktoberfest may have looked a little different on Thursday, October 22, but this yearly favorite was still the place to be. Hosted by Davyd Miller with Odd Jobs at the City Club in Westerville, the evening was a fall treat for nearly 150 attendees after what has been an interesting year. The City Club, located on the Hoover Reservoir, provided a beautiful view along with a campfire.

“Oktoberfest is always a fantastic networking event each year, but this year was extra special with the incredible seasonally warm weather, and a perfectly clear night under the stars to top it off!” said Lari Madosky Shaw with The Madosky Shaw Group.

Cambridge Exteriors and Luftman Heck & Associates LLP sponsored food, desserts were sponsored by Associates Title, Inc., and the kegerator sponsored by HydroShield and The Madosky Shaw Group with Coldwell Banker King Thompson.

Everyone was encouraged to drop their business cards for prize drawings, some of which were donated by various members. Two Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) memberships were given away. Those winners were Mark Sullivan with Keller Williams Greater Columbus & Rob Abner with Pella Windows & Doors.

David Corey, with HyrdoShield, donated a $150 HydroShield application, won by Matt Druggan with DTV Real Estate.

Music provided by Glenn Hutchins with Huntington Bank played all evening to give the perfect atmosphere for this serene outdoor setting.

The BIA Oktoberfest is an annual event presented by SMC and open to all BIA members and their guest(s).

“Oktoberfest was a great way for all of our members to come together in a safe outside setting during this crazy pandemic,” said Marilyn Evans of the BIA. “I think it’s important for our members to stay connected right now, and I’m happy that we can provide that for them.”

A special thank you to all of our event sponsors: Odd Jobs, Cambridge Exteriors, Luftman, Heck & Associates LLP, Treplus Communities, Epcon Communities, Sherwin Williams, DTV Real Estate LLC, Associate Title Inc., The Madosky Shaw Group with Coldwell Banker King Thomspon, Hydroshield, and Glenn Hutchins with Huntington Bank.

“Davyd Miller always does a fantastic job putting together a nice networking event for the BIA members. We look forward to next year!”
