Planet Oasis renaming contest will end early

Developers say hundreds have already submitted ideas for the entertainment and sports complex that has been called Planet Oasis.

If you don’t win the lottery this weekend, you still have a chance at $1,000 for renaming the “Planet Oasis” entertainment complex planned for Delaware.

But you’ll have to hurry.

Blue Horseshoe Ventures, headed by Tony Sekulovski, said Thursday that it will end the contest to rename the venue on Oct. 31, two months earlier than originally planned.
