Traffic is Up for Home and CondoQuest
Twenty BIA builders saw a surge in traffic when our 13th annual Home and CondoQuest took place during the weekends of April 18-19 and April 25-26. Hundreds of prospective buyers toured 35 new homes and condominium communities across central Ohio.
Participating builders reported a significant increase in people touring their homes. Several showed serious interest and some builders were able to secure contracts.
“The traffic was probably three times what we normally get on weekends,” says Scott Shively of Bob Webb Custom Builders.
“We had another great Home and CondoQuest,” says Nanette Overly, vice president of sales and marketing at Epcon Communities. “Our traffic from Home and CondoQuest totaled 209. We wrote two contracts and took an additional 12 reservations for our new Westerville community. It’s typical for us to continue to write contracts with clients who originated at Home and CondoQuest for several months after.”
Home and CondoQuest is our region’s largest open house. This year it included patio homes, ranch condos, multi-level homes, twin singles and single-family homes. Homes on the tour ranged from $152,000 to more than $1 million, with various price points in between. Visitors were able to use a mobile app with GPS to guide them from community to community.
The website biahomeandcondoquest.com provided consumers with a convenient way to search through the array of diverse home choices. They could view the available single-families and condos, obtain details on everything from location, to price, to number of bedrooms, and even see photos of the homes. The website will remain live until planning for next year’s show begins.
